Cameroonian designer Claude Lavie Kameni really had an amazing 2018 and 2019 promises to be even more awesome. Kemeni recently released a new campaign for her 2019 collection tagged “Le Futur C’est Maintenant“ and it is all shades of audacious. The official campaign showcases the brands signature penchant for bold prints, vibrant colours and popping melanin. For this campaign Kemeni teams up with South Sudanese model, Nyadhuor Deng to star as the muse for the collection.

The designer shares the inspiration behind the collection.
Le Futur C’est Maintenant”meaning “the future is now”. I named this particular collection this because growing up you hardly saw anyone wearing African print left alone showcasing on any platform. I wanted people to feel and look comfortable parting and even wearing African prints to award shows and clubs. I want to create a platform for young designers to feel free and embrace their culture through their work. I am all here for supporting and lifting others because at the end of the day we’re all we’ve got! Watch out world I am here to take over one design at a time!!!
